Chris Tasara is an award-winning filmmaker, screenwriter, director, musician, and creative entrepreneur known for producing emotionally driven stories that combine cinematic intensity with authentic human experiences. Based on the West Coast, Tasara has built a diverse career spanning feature films, documentaries, music, digital media, and entertainment programming. Through his work, he has developed a reputation for blending gritty realism, emotional storytelling, and visually engaging narratives while remaining committed to themes of resilience, redemption, and personal transformation.

Tasara's passion for storytelling began at an early age through his fascination with classic cinema, music, and sports culture. Inspired by filmmakers who emphasized atmosphere and character development, he pursued formal training at the University of Miami, where he earned a Master's Degree in Film. During this time, he immersed himself in every aspect of production, studying directing, cinematography, editing, music composition, and screenwriting while refining the creative voice that would later define his projects.

After relocating to Los Angeles, Tasara dedicated himself fully to building a career in entertainment. Rather than limiting himself to a single role, he adopted a multidisciplinary approach, frequently serving as writer, director, producer, and composer on his own productions. This creative control allowed him to shape projects from concept to completion while maintaining a distinct artistic identity.

Among his most notable projects is the acclaimed boxing documentary Fortitude and Glory: Angelo Dundee and His Fighters. Tasara wrote, directed, and scored the film, which spotlights legendary boxing trainer Angelo Dundee and the fighters whose careers he helped shape. Featuring interviews with icons such as George Foreman and Freddie Roach, the documentary offers an intimate perspective on the world of professional boxing while exploring themes of perseverance, mentorship, and determination.

Tasara's connection to boxing extends beyond sports entertainment. He has often viewed the discipline and sacrifice required in boxing as a reflection of life itself, making the sport a recurring inspiration throughout his creative work. This passion later influenced his award-winning screenplay Warrior Spirit, a dramatic story about a former boxer who returns to the ring to save his daughter's life. Combining emotional depth with the grit of the boxing world, the screenplay earned widespread recognition on the festival circuit, including Best Feature Screenplay honors from the Vegas Movie Awards and the Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Festival.

Tasara also gained recognition for his supernatural crime thriller Deadline. Serving as writer, director, and composer, he crafted a suspenseful feature inspired by classic noir thrillers and real-life experiences connected to a Hollywood Hills property. Released internationally after its video-on-demand debut, Deadline received fifteen awards from film festivals including the California Film Awards, Los Angeles Movie Awards, and Lucerne International Film Festival. Critics and audiences praised the film for its atmospheric tension and character-driven storytelling.

Music has played an equally important role in Tasara's career. As a composer and musician, he understands the emotional power music brings to visual storytelling. His music has appeared on Nickelodeon's Victorious, starring Victoria Justice, demonstrating his versatility across multiple entertainment platforms. By integrating music directly into many of his productions, Tasara creates immersive cinematic experiences that strengthen the emotional impact of his stories.

In addition to traditional filmmaking, Tasara has embraced digital media and online entertainment. In 2020, he launched Dopamine, a YouTube-based entertainment and lifestyle platform covering sports, music, business, pop culture, and social issues. Featuring interviews and commentary with notable figures, the series reflects his interest in contemporary culture and evolving forms of storytelling. UFC star Dustin Poirier appeared as the platform's first featured guest, helping establish Dopamine as a dynamic and engaging media project.

Tasara has also used his platform to support causes that matter deeply to him, particularly animal welfare and advocacy. Over the years, he has actively supported organizations including the Humane Society, PETA, Stray Cat Alliance, Greater Good, Animal Recovery Mission, Cuddly, and the Center for Biological Diversity. He additionally volunteered for several years at The Animal Foundation in Las Vegas, helping care for animals in need. Through his media work and advocacy efforts, Tasara continues to promote compassion, awareness, and responsible treatment of animals.

Chris's film work has been featured on Apple, Amazon, Hulu and Verizon and he's done talent work for brands such as Pepsi, Nike and Heineken. These collaborations highlight his versatility as both a filmmaker and creative professional capable of working across film, television, and branded media.

Today, Chris Tasara continues developing projects across multiple platforms while remaining dedicated to authentic storytelling and creative innovation. Whether creating feature films, documentaries, screenplays, music, or digital content, his work consistently reflects his belief that storytelling should inspire, entertain, and connect emotionally with audiences. With an expanding body of award-winning projects and a growing presence in independent entertainment, Tasara remains a distinctive voice in modern filmmaking and multimedia storytelling.
